Despite it’s unusual appearance, this lure is surprisingly effective for catching both smallmouth and largemouth. It is particularly useful for sight fishing when bass are on their spawning beds. The lure is often fished slowly and can be used with a light wire drop shot hook, They can be fished unweighted in shallow waters or with a small weight in deeper waters.
We use silicone skirting for the tentacles, other baits that use soft plastic have way less natural action. Ours is better!
